I load with the Sig 115 Grain V-Crown for Carry and usually use Remington UMC for Range usage due to low cost. Have had no troubles with the UMC on the range, nor any trouble with Blazer Brass. Tab is Waiting for the Magazine Follower after last Bullet loads. If you look you can see the Follower's shelf just under that last bullet. Above is the principal behind the Slide locking back on the last bullet shot. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. Going single-stack would pretty much be the wrong direction and defeat the purpose of the P365. OP, if you want a pistol that is thinner you need to look into the Ruger LC9s. It's also, IIRC, a tad lighter. And it's single-stack and 7+1. I picked up the P365 X-Macro the day after release and like it. Softer shooter than the XL or original. The 17 round mags add a new dimension to the compact genre. It's a nice handgun, worth solid consideration but I'm getting rid of mine. I've got the original P365 and the XL.The X and XL series are both optic ready. Adding an optic to a std 365 requires sending the slide off for milling. If you like the smaller grip and shorter barrel of the std 365, it will be easier, cheaper and less painful to get the X. I believe I'm going to leave the 380 as is, you can feel the weight difference.
